Longmont, CO - May 23, 2005 - Niwot Networks, Inc., a leading vendor of high performance communication software announced today that it has released versions of its Gigabyte Express 5  and Gigabyte Express 3 file transfer software for Windows. Gigabyte Express is a mission-critical, business-to-business bulk data transfer solution that replaces traditional File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Versions 5.206 and 3.206 support AutoGet automated file retrieval and multi-gigabyte files. Customer and internal performance tests indicate that Gigabyte Express 5 is the fastest file transfer product on the market, achieving tenfold performance over FTP on international links.
