Longmont, CO – December 2, 2002 - Niwot Networks, Inc., a leading vendor of high performance communication software announced today that it has released version 5.103 of its Gigabyte Express 5 file transfer software for Windows. Gigabyte Express is a mission-critical, business-to-business bulk data transfer solution that replaces traditional File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Version 5.103 supports encryption utilizing Diffie-Hellman key exchange and 128-bit Rijndael/AES encryption. Customer and internal performance tests indicate that Gigabyte Express 5 is the fastest file transfer product on the market, achieving tenfold performance over FTP on international links.
